Palmer takes on Number Four
Bedtime Stories star Teresa Palmer is trotting away from her fantasy comfort zone to take on the role of Number Six in the science fiction feature I Am Number Four. DJ Caruso is directing the film that already showcases the talents of Alex Pettyfer and Sharlto Copley.
Palmer will play Number Six, one of nine aliens who escape their home planet before its annihilation by a rival species and hide out on Earth disguised as human high schoolers. Alex Pettyfer will play the title role of Four. Sharlto Copley will play Pettyfer’s guardian and mentor (Heat Vision Blog).
I Am Number Four, based off the novel by James Frey and Jobie Hughes, is penned by Alfred Gough and and Miles Millar. Producing the picture is Michael Bay with Steven Spielberg serving as executive producer. Palmer can next be seen in the Walt Disney Pictures action/adventure fantasy film The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, going into theaters on July 16th.
