Palmer jumps onto Fury Road

Submitted by Melissa Molina on January 15, 2010 – 8:25 pmNo Comment

Teresa Palmer is set to be playing a leading role in the upcoming fourth installment in the Mad Max series. Instead of it being a regular report from some high profile trade website, the scoop was given out by Jay Baruchel to the Herald Sun.:

“She gets to work with him, and she’s (going to be) doing Mad Max 4 with Miller,” Baruchel said.

The actor, who counts Palmer as a very good friend after working with her on The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, said he didn’t know the character’s exact name but believed it was the female lead.

“She’s the main chick in Fury Road,” he said.

Fury Road is set to be directed by George Miller with Doug Mitchell producing. Tom Hardy is already set to take on the role of Max, with the feature underneath Icon Productions and Warner Bros Pictures, set to come out in 2011. Palmer will next be seen in the upcoming movie The Sorcerer’s Apprentice along with several others in Young Americans.
