OWN gets a Family Affair

The Oprah Winfrey Network grabs themselves one of the documentaries from the Sundance Film Festival which is Family Affair. The documentary is about Chico David Colvard and his three sisters revisiting their childhood marked by a tragic incident, in which 10-year-old Colvard shot his older sister, and by severe childhood abuse that his sisters suffered at the hand of their father (THR). Colvard wrote and produced the picture that will be part of a slate of OWN’s documentary film club.

OWN is supposed to start launching in early 2010, having several shows and features already under their belt to showcase for the yet to be aired television network.
