Olivia Wilde competing for lead in Alien prequels
Twentieth Century Fox and director Ridley Scott continue to search for the lead in the upcoming Alienprequels. We’ve already heard that Natalie Portman, Noomi Rapace, and Anne Hathaway are being looked at for the part. Now, another name has joined the shortlist.
Deadline Hollywood reports that Olivia Wilde (Tron: Legacy) has met with Ridley Scott for the role. However, Ridley Scott’s choice is Noomi Rapace, who has become famous since her performance as Lisbeth Salander in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. The problem with that is Rapace’s English isn’t good, and could possibly keep her from landing the role. The studio will now have a big part in the decision.

Rapace is a great choice, she can learn English phonetically, like Antonio Banderas did.

Little known fact, Noomi already knows English. She’s going to have no problem becoming a huge Hollywood star. And I can’t wait. She’s fantastic in the Millennium Trilogy.
