Noxon found her Fright Night

fright_nightThe grim reality of the ever growing onslaught of remakes continues with Mad Men writer Marti Noxon ready to pen Fright Night. This will not be Noxon’s first brush with the supernatural, having previous experience as a writer on the popular Joss Whedon show Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the spinoff show Angel. Dreamworks is in charge of keeping this production afloat with producers Michael De Luca, Alison Rosenzweig and Michael Gaeta all on board.

The horror-comedy feature has made it’s fair share of appearances within the news this year, quickly dying off at the start only to get a boost of life back into the project much to my dismay. Even though THR reported the news that’s so typical to hear nowadays, this reporter just hates being reminded of the fact that at this point with this town, no film is good enough or safe to not be remade.
