No Sex and the City 3 says star

While the first film based off of the mega-popular Sex and the City HBO series was a huge and unexpected hit for WB, this year’s sequel flopped. With a budget of $100 million, the didn’t come close to that number domestically, although it did rack in $186 in the foreign market.

But will there be a third?

“I don’t think so, not that I know of. I wish it was so that we were continuing, but I don’t know,” says Kristen Davis, who blames the media for over-hyping it. “There was so much hype, not coming from us, but the media hyped it up and then they tore it down.”
