Night of the Creeps goes Blu!

Thrill me!

I never thought the day would come that Fred Dekker’s Night of the Creeps would be released on DVD, let alone Blu-Ray. Kudos have to go out to Sony Pictures for listening to the fans and giving us a pristine, extras-filled release of one of the best horror-comedies ever. Please get rid of that dreadful artwork though, the original theatrical poster would of been perfect.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced DVD ($19.94) and Blu-ray ($24.95) releases of Night of the Creeps which stars Jason Lively, Steve Marshall, and Jill Whitlow. As well as a director’s cut of the film, each release will include commentary with Writer/ Director Fred Dekker, a cast commentary, featurettes (“Birth of the Creeps”, “Cast of the Creeps”, “Creating the Creeps”, “Escape of the Creeps”, “Legend of the Creeps”, “Tom Atkins: Man of Action”), the original theatrical ending, deleted scenes, and a trivia track. Street date is October 27.
