Nic Cage talks Ghost Rider 2
While at Wondercon, actor Nicholas Cage took time to talk about the tone for the upcoming sequel, Ghost Rider: The Spirit of Vengeance. Comic Book Movies has the interview.:
“I’m not sure, I liked the first one a lot. I liked what Mark Steven Johnson did with ‘Ghost Rider’. It was sort of, like, if Walt Disney had taken Faust and had made one of his spectacular fairy tales out of [it]. But you can’t really do that with kids, because of the subject matter” Cage continued, “but we’ll see what happens. It’s also more international.”
“I think that ‘Ghost Rider 2′ tends to go to a darker, harder edge,”
I really didn’t like the first film at all, but I am willing to give this a chance. I do like that it may go in a darker direction this time.
