New UK Trailer for Shelter
NALA Films is aiming to freak us the hell out some more with the latest UK version of the trailer for the upcoming horror/thriller movie Shelter. The feature, directed by Bjorn Stein and Mans Marlind, stars Julianne Moore with Jonathan Rhys Meyers.
A female forensic psychiatrist (Moore) discovers that all of one of her patient’s multiple personalities are murder victims. She will have to find out what’s happening before her time is finished. Written by Michael Cooney and produced by Mike Macari among others, Shelter comes out in theaters sometime in 2010. Watch the new trailer below from ShockTillYouDrop.:

Encouraged by English friends who’ve seen it over there, I caught Shelter on a download site and I’m QUITE eager to get it’s full effect on the big screen. It’s a perfectly adequate mid winter blahs chaser, capably penned, ably acted by alist stars and tensely paced with between chills banter. I found it atmospheric murky and classically creepy, not so gross that you upchuck your dr pepper but there ARE moments when you’ll spill your popcorn so…hang on to it.
