We all know that The Princess and the Frog is still out in theaters right now, but what many people seem to forget is the fact that there’s another Disney princess movie in the works for next year entitled Rapunzel. /Film is awesome enough to stumble upon a magazine that showcases Rapunzel (voiced by Mandy Moore) and Flynn Ryder (voiced by Zachary Levi). The one part that completely escaped me until now is the plain fact that although this is a Disney princess film, this technically is the first big-screen Disney CGI-Animated princess film.

I guess the House of Mouse is still not too confident to continue on with their reign of princess 2D animated films. The story is about a princess stolen from her parents’ castle as a baby, Rapunzel (Moore) is locked in a hidden tower longing for adventure. Now and imaginative and determined teenager, she takes off on a hilarious, hair-raising escapade with the help of a dashing bandit (Levi). With the secret of her royal heritage hanging in the balance and her captor in pursuit, Rapunzel and her cohort find adventure, humor, heart, and hair…lots of hair.

The feature is being directed by Nathan Greno and Byron Howard who both previously worked together in Walt Disney Pictures Bolt. Rapunzel is set to come out in theaters and in 3D on Novemeber 24th, 2010.:
