New Expendables stills look away in anger

Sylvester Stallone’s The Expendables is turning into the ultimate alternative film for the weekend of August 13th if you are strangely not craving Scott Pilgrim and don’t feel like getting in touch with your inner girly gal with Eat Pray Love. If you’d rather see explosions, a bunch of action stars of now and way back when, then this is for you.

The story, written by Stallone and Dave Callaham, is about a team of mercenaries head to South America on a mission to overthrow a dictator. Those in the cast include Jason Statham, Stallone, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Eric Roberts, Steve Austin, Danny Trejo, Randy Couture, Terry Crews and Mickey Rourke.
