Murray confirms Ghostbusters 3 Rumors

Submitted by Melissa Molina on February 8, 2010 – 1:02 pm5 Comments

It’s very unfortunate, and strange of me to report, that Bill Murray confirmed with Mail on Sunday that he’ll be coming back onto Ghostbusters 3 as a ghost. A lot of us were hoping that it was a joke when Sigourney Weaver first spilled the beans in an interview that Bill Murray would come back on the third installment as nothing more as a ghost in the literal sense. Then, quickly after that, she ended up denying her claim and said that she has not even read the script yet.

Here’s what the actor dished out to Mail on Sunday.:

I’ll come back in Ghostbusters III only if I get to be a ghost. I said to them, ‘I’ll do it if you kill me off in the first reel.’ So now they are going to have me as a ghost in the film.

So, are you still looking forward to the third film being directed by Ivan Reitman, or does this piss you off to high heaven? Let us know, were curious.
