Murphy finally doing another R rated flick?

Could Eddie Murphy possibly be getting back into doing R-rated films? It’s turning into a near reality as the actor is in talks to produce and star in The Misadventures of Fluffy. Granted, the title does some what childish and misleading, but it could end up being the film to get Murphy back on the right comedic movie track. The project is described as a road trip pic through New York featuring talking animals, and with an element of social comedy reminiscent of Murphy’s 1980’s hit “Trading Places” (THR).

Currently penning the script is writers Sam Pitman and Adam Cole-Kelly. The two have previously worked on a script called The Diversification of Noah Miller that got picked up with Tyler Perry possibly starring in it. When it comes to Eddie Murphy though, let’s hope that the actor makes the right choice and reminds us why we used to love his work back in the day.
