Morgan gets his Unblinking Eye

Jeffrey Dean Morgan is signing on to be part of the latest flick entitled The Unblinking Eye. Directed and written by Michael Bassett, the picture is about homicide detective John Callisto (Morgan), now a retired recluse after being nearly murdered by a serial killer, is tracked down by a relentless journalist. As the two confront each other, dark secrets from both their pasts come to light (THR). Bassett’s previous works include Solomon Kane and Deathwatch.

The picture will be produced by Kevan Van Thompson and Juliusz Kossakowski under Wind Fish Motion Pictures. Principal photography is already expected to start up on May with no set release date at the moment. Jeffrey Dean Morgan can next be seen on the big screen in the comic book adapted feature The Losers.
