Moretz might run into The Fields

Chloe Moretz is in the middle of talks to go and play a role in the upcoming Ami Canaan Mann directed feature The Fields, reports Production Weekly. If she ends up joining, she’ll be part of a cast that includes Sam Worthington, Jessica Chastain and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The story, penned by Don Ferrarone, is set in the Texas bayous where a local homicide detective (Worthington) who teams up with a cop from New York City to investigate a series of unsolved murders. Principal photography is expected to start this May 3rd in New Orleans with a to-be-announced 2011 release date.

Moretz can next be seen co-starring alongside Aaron Johnson, Nicolas Cage, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Mark Strong in the Matthew Vaughn directed feature Kick-Ass. The young actress is already signed on to be part of the latest Martin Scorsese feature The Invention of Hugo Cabret and can also be seen in Let Me In being released on October 1rst.
