More visits to Silent Hill?

Submitted by Melissa Molina on November 13, 2009 – 5:21 pmNo Comment

ShockTillYouDrop give out the latest scoop on none other than Silent Hill. There has been some speculation for awhile about the possibilities of a sequel to the video game adaptation, and special makeup fx man Paul Jones has this to say on it:

silenthill031105-5“I was working on storyboards for that around the same time last year,” Jones revealed. “It’s going to be pretty crazy. There’s a lot of cool stuff in there. Roger (Avary) has some awesome ideas and hopefully we’re going to bring that to fruition sometime next year.” He would not comment on whether the script was complete, but he said that with a smile.

With some easy snooping, Silent Hill 2 is slated on imdb to come out sometime in 2011. Since the film is still currently in development, or even more so a twinkle in a couple of people’s eyes, we will see whether or not it will come into ‘fruition’ like previously stated.

Do you think Silent Hill should get itself a movie sequel? Do you think that the video game adaptation should just stay as a video game? Let us know what you think.
