More locked into the Smurfs

Katy Perry and Hank Azaria’s voices are being taken in for the Smurfs movie since Entertainment Weekly reports that the two will be part of the live action/CGI animation hybrid feature. Azaria will be taking on the live action role of the evil Gargamel, the sorcerer who is always hell-bent on taking down the Smurfs.

Perry is confirmed to be the voice of the only opposite sex Smurf called Smurfette. Let us not forget that there are still more humans that will be walking around in this hybrid picture, and what better way to remind you than mentioning that Glee‘s Jayma Mays who will be co-starring with Neil Patrick Harris as his character’s pregnant wife, reports THR.

The Raja Gosnell directed picture includes additional voice talents like Alan Cumming, George Lopez, Jonathan Winters and…Quentin Tarantino? I apologize, that question mark had to go there because it’s quite a surprise to see him suddenly listed under the cast on the movie’s official IMDB page.
