More Abomination and Hulk?

Tis the season to be filled with Marvel, which this fan does not mind one bit. The 2008 summer film The Incredible Hulk did fare well tons better than it’s previous adaptation, Ang Lee’s monstrosity called Hulk. Because of that, there has always been a strong possibility that there could be another sequel that will spawn. Then again, the Hulk has always been one of the secondary characters within the Marvel universe that has been very iffy with a lot of people, a sort of love it or hate it persona that seems to swirl around that property along others like Ghost Rider or Daredevil.

IncredibleHulk_abomination-thumb-550x335-10712Tim Roth played Emil Blonsky, the solider that goes crazy with the good stuff and turns into the Abomination. Here he got to say a few words to MTV (thanks to Reelz Channel for digging this up) on what he would like to do in the future when it comes to future films.:

Yeah, we’ve talked about it — I’ve talked about it with Marvel. When you do your deal, you sign up for three [films]. So, I’ve done the one … and basically, I don’t know what they have planned, but they can bring me back.

I had the best time ever with that one — more fun on set than anybody. I did it purely for my kids, so my boys can laugh at their dad and have fun with it.

Sure, this could be considered as some-what old news, but with the ridiculous amount of sequels and other properties within the Marvel universe that are coming out, there’s a great chance that we could see either Abomination or the Hulk appear in other films before the inevitable 2012 release of The Avengers under Marvel Entertainment.

  1. I would like to see more of The Abomination, but I still say Hulk should have snapped its neck at the end of the movie.

  2. Second highest sales, right behind Spider-man(in terms of issues)
