Monopoly has a director

Yes, it’s been reported for awhile but now it is official: Ridley Scott is attached to helm a big screen adaptation of the board game Monopoly. The script is coming from Pamela Pettler (Corpse Bride, Monster House) and Universal id distrubiting it, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
