Molina leads on the Abduction

Alfred Molina, or better known as my pretend uncle, is joining the cast for John Singleton picture Abduction. Molina is set to play a key role in the upcoming picture that already stars Taylor Lautner and Lily Collins. Lautner plays a young man who realizes he was kidnapped as a child, and is forced to run for his life after he reaches out to find his real parents. Molina will play a dogged CIA agent who is one step behind, determined to bring the teenager in alive (Deadline).

Producing the picture is Doug Davison, Dan Lautner, Roy Lee, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and Lee Stollman. Filming is set to begin this July with a 2012 release date set by Lionsgate. Alfred Molina will next be seen in Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time this May 28th in theaters everywhere.
