Miller chases after Yogi

558cee12JoBlo reports that Cloverfield actor T.J. Miller is going to be the one to dawn the ranger hat as he takes on the role of Ranger Smith. Now granted, this news is not particularly interesting but how he landed the role. Normally, depending on where you are in the acting totem pole, you have to audition in order to grab your part. Miller went above and beyond in this case, doing a performance with an actual bear in the role of Yogi Bear.

Miller adds onto the cast that already includes Anna Faris, Justin Timberlake and Dan Aykroyd. The film will be directed by Erik Brevig with this live action and animated hybrid movie to be released December 17th, 2010. Here’s the audition tape that T.J. Miller sent below.:
