Millar claims Kick-Ass 2 is a go

When I talked to Mark Millar, author of the Kick-Ass graphic novels about the sequel, he was waiting for the DVD and Blu-ray sales to help the studio and producers be convinced of the pros for a sequel,  and now, it seems as if it has happened. On Radio 5 in the UK, Millar confirms the sales have been good enough and the sequel, which will again be based off of his new series Kick-Ass: Balls to the Wall, is a go.

No date or anything, sadly, as the director Matthew Vaughn has been working on the X-Men: First Class prequel for a June 2011 date. Sounds kick-ass, no?
