Michael Shannon joins The Runaways

This past years Oscar nominee for Revolutionary Road, Michal Shannon has just taken a starring role opposite Twilight star Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning in the biopic on the popular all female rock band.  In the film Kristen Stewart portrays the iconic Joan Jett and Fanning as Cherry Curie.  No word as of yet who Shannon will portray yet, though with his recent pedigree will most likely have his choice of roles.
