Michael Bay dismisses rumors of The Birds and Rosemary’s Baby remake

While Michael Bay may be attached to recent horror remakes such as A Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday The 13th, he assures you that a remake of The Birds and Rosemary’s Baby is just a rumor. On his website, Micheal Bay dismisses any rumor that Platinum Dunes plans to remake the classic films.:

“No just a bad rumor. Not true at all. The same can be said for the Birds – we never considered that remake for Platinum Dunes.”

I for one am very pleased with this news since The Birds and Rosemary’s Baby hold a special place in my movie collection. Hollywood has been obsessed with remakes of classics for the past few years, and it’s good to hear that these two are safe for now.
