Michael Bay discusses next Transformers 2 trailer and more…

This is why I’love’ Michael Bay recently during an interview with Ropeofsilcon the director stated:

“A movie isn’t an actualmovie unless things are blowing up and I blow them up with the best of them,” The Bay said. “Sure, you can have emotional moments and we have those with Megan and Shia, but when it comes down to it no one goes to a movie for the actual story as much as they go to see robots and things explode and we got that! I am the only director to have a direct line to the Pentagon. The Pentagon. Pentagon. You think Martin Scorsese can just call the Pentagon? Pentagon?”

Surely any lovers of film can understand the hate for Michael Bay out there following this ridiculous statement.  Priceless.  Bay also revealed that in the next coming trailers for this summers highly anticipated film Transformers 2, that a huge number of Transformers will be revealed as well as plot point and that what he will hold back on is explosions.  Nuff said. This may very well be my favorite news post ever.
