Messina is a Devil

Submitted by Melissa Molina on October 16, 2009 – 12:34 pmNo Comment

awaygospecialnewyorkscreeningbrfso6wfnp1lVariety reports that actor Chris Messina is jumping on board on the latest horror/thriller movie “Devil”. The project is originally based off of a story that director M. Night Shyamalan created. Brian Nelson is writing the script, with his credits prior to this being “Hard Candy” and “30 Days of Night”. Directing is Drew Dowdle and John Erick Dowdle, who both worked together on “Quarantine” and “The Poughkeepsie Tapes”.

Filming will start next week in Toronto with an uncertain 2011 release date. The film is under Media Rights Capital and Night Chronicles, which is Shyamalan’s own production company. No real definitive plot is out for us all to see but with production going quickly underway, you can expect more news coming out for this project.
