Mel Gibson no longer in The Hangover 2
Mel Gibson can’t seem to get a break lately. His recent scandal has led to Leonardo DiCaprio dropping out of his upcoming Viking movie, and several other actors have expressed disinterest towards working with him. Now, that same scandal may have cost him his cameo in The Hangover 2. The Wrap reports that Phillips has decided to cancel Gibson’s cameo as a tattoo artist in the film.
Phillips’ reasoning is the cast and crew were uncomfortable with having Gibson star in the film.“But I realize filmmaking is a collaborative effort, and this decision ultimately did not have the full support of my entire cast and crew”,he said. This comes after the news that actor Zach Galifianakis supposedly upset with Gibson’s cameo, and apparently the rest of the cast felt the same way. It could possibly be due to the news hitting the Internet so quickly, and alerted the cast crew of his involvement.
