Mel Gibson loves the beaver

Submitted by Daniel Herrera on July 10, 2009 – 12:24 pmNo Comment

Obvious pun aside, Oscar winner Mel Gibson is now the latest star attached to star in the beloved script The Beaver. Beaver tells the story on an insecure man who walks around with a beaver puppet attached to his hand. The film is said to be akin to Being John Malkovich and Lars and the Real Girl.

Previous actors who have also tried to get the project off the ground include Steve Carrell and Jim Carrey.  Gibson’s current participation in the project seems the most likely to take off though as Jodie Foster is circling the project as a potential directorial project if her long delayed Flora Plum does not happen anytime soon.
