McTeigue on Superman, Plastic Man

Submitted by Jon Peters on August 6, 2009 – 1:09 pmNo Comment

plastic4With the rumors flying (bad pun) for a reboot of Superman, the one constant name that has been attached to the property is the Wachowski Brothers. James McTeigue has long been their second unit director, and here is what he had to say about the potential Wachowski Brothers directed Superman film:

“You know… I… I would say… I’ll keep you guessing, actually. It’s good not to dispel every rumor, right?”

“Obviously, Larry and Andy, did a script for Plastic Man back in the day. I’ll be very surprised if that movie gets made. We haven’t ever really talked about it. But I know it’s still a Joel [Silver] property or a Warner property…”

You can see James McTeigue next film, Ninja Assassin around Thanksgiving this year.
