McConaughey wants to tell Rooster Tales

Submitted by Melissa Molina on November 30, 2009 – 9:59 amNo Comment

matthew mcconaughey jan 5 2009 totstitis fiesta bowl 3Matthew McConaughey is teaming up with the TV sector of Twentieth Century Fox to exploit the hell out of his brother’s life with Rooster Tales. ”Rooster Tales” follows the world of a beer-swilling, redneck sheriff who marries a much younger woman from Mexico. The man soon realizes, however, that he’s gained not only a wife but an entire clan — 114 members and counting (Variety). The concept of the series spawns off of McConaughey’s brother’s life, something that the actor finds absolutely “…unbelievable that we had to animate it.”

The story is currently in pre-production with McConaughey jumping on as executive producer. Who knows how this will turn out but one thing is for sure, relatives of McConaughey beware or else he’ll try to cash in on your life as well.
