Marvel signs Tim Blake Nelson for more Hulk movies?

Tim Blake Nelson, hot off of his directorial effort in Leaves of Grass, has confirmed to The Playlist that Marvel signed him for more Hulk films, well, potentially. This means he will continue his role as The Leader, as we witnessed his origin in the Edward Norton starring The Incredible Hulk.

I am, but it’s a question as to whether they’ll make more movies, which was the [original] intention, or whether they’ll take a fresh start with the villains, since they switched Bruce Banner to Mark Ruffalo. I certainly very much want to return as the Leader and I hope they’ll have me. The intention was that I would come back, which is why my head starts to, um, bubble, at the end. It’s just a question as to whether a) they’re going to make more Hulk movies, and b) because of Ruffalo, if they’re going to use me again.”

I thoroughly enjoyed The Incredible Hulk and I would love a sequel after The Avengers.

  1. I’m confused about Marvel’s plans for Hulk. They have Ruffalo signed for more films(of course), but they’re making a new tv series too. Is Ruffalo gonna star in the tv series or a new film? Same goes for Nelson as The Leader.
