Mark Walhberg confirms he’s Nathan Drake in Uncharted
Earlier this month Jon brought you the potential casting news (here) for David O. Russell’s adaption of the video game Uncharted. That news had Mark Wahlberg’s name as a contender for the role of Nathan Drake, well it seems it is now official as Wahlberg has confirmed the news.
“David is one of the best writer/directors I’ve ever worked with, the idea that he has is just insane. So hopefully we’ll be making that movie this summer.” He told MTV in a recent interview.
He also touched on the rumors that Russell wanted DeNiro and Pesci for the film. “I’m obviously in whatever David wants to do but the idea of it is so off the charts: De Niro being my father, Pesci being my uncle. It’s not going to be the watered-down version, that’s for sure.”
With the film well underway now, I am sure it won’t be long till we’ll hear if those guys agree to them film or if Russell goes with another duo,
