Mark Millar talks Kick-Ass 2
Matthew Vaughn’s Kick-Ass will be making its debut on DVD/Blu-ray next Tuesday, but fans are eager to know about the status of the sequel, Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall. C0-creator Mark Miller is currently making the comic, but was able to give Movie Web details about the upcoming sequel.
The biggest news he reveals is that Matthew Vaughn should be done with X-men: First Class next April, and that work on the sequel should begin after wards.  The ending will lead directly into the sequel. Chloe Moretz (Hit-girl) is growing fast, but Millar says that will all be addressed in the film. “The actors may be a little bit older, or bigger. They can address that in the movie. But I am not changing anything for the comic book,” Millar said.
Millar will be showing a new take on Hit-girl and Red Mist for the sequel. Miller and Vaugh have been working on American Jesus, but will be “definitely jumping straight into Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall” after X-Men: First Class. The original cast is set to return in the sequel, with Vaughn returning to direct.
Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall is scheduled for a 2012 release.
