Marc Forster no longer directing World War Z !

One of my more anticipated films of the next few years was Finding Neverland director Marc Forster’s adaptation of Max Brooks’  (son of Mel) amazing book World War Z.  Back when Forster had completed production on Quantum of Solace the director stated this would be his next project, but has now been put on the back burner as Forster has just signed on to direct Disconnect.   The directors next film tells of our society disconnection with each other and our integration with technology.  

World War Z told the fictional account of the a war across the globe of a zombie infestation written as a first person narrative true life account.   Check out the book here on amazon.
