Malkovich locked in for Vulture

Submitted by Melissa Molina on January 10, 2010 – 3:22 pm3 Comments

Although the web slinger Spider-Man dropped into the hiatus zone last week, the casting is still going on full force. BadTaste. It broke the news when talking to actor John Malkovich about donning on a villain’s outfit as The Vulture in Sam Raimi’s latest addition to the popular Marvel comic book and movie franchise Spider-Man 4. Even though the report is done in a foreign language, here’s the proper translation through Screen Rant.:

“When conductor Simona Ventura asked him about his role of Vulture in the movie, he not only didn’t deny his involvement, but confirmed that he’s waiting for the final script to be sent to him, and that the movie has been delayed. He also hopes that shooting will begin as soon as possible.”

Spider-Man 4 has jumped ship from it’s original May 6th, 2011 release date due to the sudden postponement having to deal with script issues. Thor currently moved into that release date slot, so the exact date for the masked superhero to go back into theaters again at the moment is entirely unknown.
