Malkovich in Spidey 4?

vulture2It looks like actor John Malkovich could finally be landing himself a role in the Spider-Man movie franchise as rumors swirl about him becoming a villain. Malkovich apparently might play the Vulture, one of Spider-Man’s enemies in the comic books.

Coming Soon is also reporting that Anne Hathaway, who was rumored to be in talks to play Felicia Hardy in the fourth installment, is going to play the character but is not expected to turn into Black Cat. Instead, Sam Raimi’s Felicia will become a new villain called the Vulturess.

What do you all think, is it a good choice for Hathaway and Malkovich to jump on board the Spider-Man 4 movie as these possible villains? Or do you think Raimi needs to stop filling up the Spider-Man movies with so many villains?

    He should have had The Lizard as the villain in this film. I can say that I have just lost what little interest I had in “Spider-man 4″.

    I always pictured someone more cranky than John for the Vulture. This could be getting the franchise back on the right track, IMO.

    Didn’t Raimi say that the villain will be someone close to Parker so that he would mature a bit? And by that I think this is false.

    I always heard Raimi wanted a villain closer to what New York is. Who knows. LOL
