Machete inching closer to being a real film

Over at Gordon and the Whale, Danny Trejo was quoted as saying the Machete is getting ready to film, after be a long-rumored production since the really fun fake trailer in front of Grindhouse. He even said it’s looking to start filming within the next 5 weeks!

If you’re like me, the fake trailers were easily the best thing about Grindhouse, so here’s hoping that we’ll f*ck with this Mexican soon. No word on if Robert Rodriguez is the director, but it’s assumed so.
