MacGruber gets a push

Universal Pictures wants us to wait a little longer on MacGruber, pushing it back from it’s initial April 23rd release date to May 21rst. There is a reason for this sudden move, and that’s due in a large part to Warner Bros Pictures shifting their release for the upcoming comic book adaptation The Losers from June to April 23rd, MacGruber‘s original date, says the LA Times.

The Saturday Night Live based action comedy stars Will Forte as MacGruber, an Ex-special operative who is called back into action to take down his archenemy, Dieter Von Cunth (Val Kilmer), who’s in possession of a nuclear warhead and bent on destroying Washington, D.C. The Jorma Taccone directed film also stars Kristen Wiig, Ryan Phillippe and Maya Rudolph.
