Little Miss Sunshine’s Abigail Breslin set for ‘Rape’

Ah, how every one’s favorite beauty pageant contestant/stripper has grown. Today, comes word that Oscar Nominees’ Samuel L. Jackson and Abigail Breslin, who was last seen in the children’s adaptation of the Kitt Kitredge dolls, have now been casting Rape: A Love Story along with Maria Bello.

According to Variety the film is: Based on the Joyce Carol Oates novella published in 2003, story centers on a mother (Bello) recovering from a brutal gang rape who is stalked by the perpetrators but is protected by a sympathetic cop (Jackson). Breslin will play the woman’s12-year-old daughter, who witnesses the attack.

Now if Rape: A Love Story can be released under the same name, and Zack and Miri Make a  Porno had to change their title to sell copies or to be screened in theatres, now there will be some REAL hypocrisy.
