Lerman could be Spider-Man after all?
Sony Pictures might be finally sinking their teeth into a new leading star for the upcoming reboot of Spider-Man as HitFix discovers that Logan Lerman is the first choice for the feature. 500 Days of Summer director Marc Webb is already attached to the project to helm it from the script that’s being put together by James Vanderbilt.
Lerman is best known for his most recent roles in Gamer and the novel adaptation of Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. The young actor has been rumored to be in the running to take on the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man in this sudden remake, but Sony debunked them only to take back their word, which makes things quite confusing.
The real question is whether or not the fanbase is still willing to let in a reboot of one of the most highly successful comic book movie franchises within the past decade. Sam Raimi directed the three previous films with Spider-Man 3 being the most profitable but critic and audience panned of the series.
Since Lerman is almost a complete lock for Peter Parker/Spider-Man, who would you like to see be cast in the remake?

Lerman looks like he would be right for the role.
