Lead Voices Cast for Rapunzel

In case you haven’t heard yet, Disney‘s 50th feature animated film (and its first CG musical) is currently in the works.

Mandy Moore will be the voice of the main character, Rapunzel and Zachary Levi (TV’s Chuck) will voice the roguish bandit Flynn Rider, Rapunzel’s love interest.

“There’s a lot of girl power in the is movie,” stated John Lasseter, Chief Creative Officer for Walt Disney Animation and Pixar Studios, during a presentation at the D23 Expo.

Byron Howard and Nathan Greno, the creative team behind Bolt, are directing the film.

Rapunzel is set for release in theaters in 2010.
