Lawrence takes on Big Momma a 3rd time

Martin Lawrence continues to try and fill up his schedule again as he takes on the Big Momma’s House property once more with Regency Enterprises. They will be collaborating with Twentieth Century Fox who will be helping out with distribution for the comedy. Joining alongside the fat-suit wearing Lawrence is actor Brandon T. Jackson, who’s appeared in several movies which include Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Tropic Thunder.

In the latest adventure, FBI agent Malcolm Turner and his 17-year-old nephew, Trent, go undercover at an all-girls performing arts school after Trent witnesses a murder. Posing as Big Momma and Charmaine, they must find the murderer before he finds them (Variety). Producing the picture is David T. Friendly, who’s produced the previous two installments, under Friendly Films from a script written by Matthew Fogel and Randi Mayem Singer. The film is being directed by John Whitesell, who already helmed Big Momma’s House 2, with principal photography starting up in April.
