Lake Mungo gets a cool new Poster

Submitted by Melissa Molina on December 21, 2009 – 5:36 pmNo Comment

Today must be official poster releasing day with the influx of movie posters that have been making their way here onto Killer Film. The latest is yet another horror movie in the form of Lake Mungo, the flick that will be making it’s appearance on the After Dark Horrorfest 4.

The flick stars Talia Zucker, Rosie Tranyor, David Pledger and Martin Sharpe in the feature written and directed by Joel Anderson. The story is about sixteen-year-old Alice Palmer (Talia Zucker) drowns while swimming in the local dam. When her body is recovered and a verdict of accidental death returned, her grieving family buries her. The family then experiences a series of strange and inexplicable events centered in and around their home. Profoundly unsettled, the Palmers seek the help of psychic and parapsychologist, Ray Kemeny (Steve Jodrell). Ray discovers that Alice led a secret, double life. A series of clues lead the family to Lake Mungo where Alice’s secret past emerges.

Lake Mungo comes out in hopefully more than just selected theaters on January 29th, 2010. Here’s the official poster from ShockTillYouDrop.:
