How hard is it to put the title of this article up and not have it be a pun? Today the long awaited official trailer for Matthew Vaughn’s upcoming adaptation of the comic book series Kick-Ass has debuted. Take it as compensation for those not lucky enough to have seen the amazing footage released during this year’s Comic-Con.

I am a self aware film freak, and though many people believe it to border on fanaticism, I have always had a desire to be somehow connected to film. I have a very strong affection for horror films of all kinds, though judging from my film library many consider me to be a bit schizophrenic in my choices. For years now I have been the sole film critic for those around me as my head is basically an encyclopedia of film knowledge. I can always use examples from movies to answer questions or to solve problems that my friends may have.
I don’t know who the target audience is for this, but from the teaser here, this really doesn’t look very good. Now, mind you, I have never heard of this comic, but it still looks pretty bad from the trailer.
