Kevin James climbing on new Ron Howard project

Paul Blart: Mall Cop star Kevin James is set to team up with Vince Vaughn in the Ron Howard directed untitled feature. In it, James will be co-starring with Vince as they play best friends and business partners, and Vaughn is tortured when he observes his pal’s wife getting intimate with another man (Deadline Hollywood). The script is penned by Allan Loeb who’s other work includes Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, Things We Lost in the Fire and 21. Producing the picture will be Brian Grazer along with Howard under their Imagine Entertainment label with Vaughn under Wild West Picture Show.

The King of Queens actor is appearing in a couple of films this year which include The Zookeeper and Grown Ups. Grown Ups also includes Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Rob Schneider, Salma Hayek and David Spade. The upcoming Happy Madison Productions and Columbia Pictures film comes out on June 25th.
