Kevin James brings on the Boom
Kevin James is teaming up with Columbia Pictures once more on the upcoming comedy Here comes the Boom, says Variety. Not only is he circling the project, but Salma Hayek could be signing on to play the female lead. James is producing with Adam Sandler and Todd Garner, adding that along with the fact that he co-wrote the script with Rock Reuben. Unfortunately there’s no word on what exactly the story is about, but since Columbia Pictures is trying to push for the feature to start filming in January we more than likely won’t hear about it for awhile.
James is going to appear in the new Dennis Dugan film Grown Ups this June 25th, co-starring alongside Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, David Spade, Rob Schneider and Salma Hayek. He’s also part of the cast on The Zookeeper, a romantic comedy coming out in theaters on July 8th, 2011.
