Karate Kid remake details

It appears the folks over at Moviehole have gotten some details regarding the Will Smith produced remake of the Karate Kid.   Smith’s son Jaden, is playing the main role originated by Ralph Machio,  and will know be called Dre, who moves to China with his mother due to the country’s economic crisis. While in China, he is bullied and must learn to protect himself.  Jackie Chan, who is taking over the Mr. Miyagi role, is now being called Mr. Han, a man who stumbles into Dre playing a video game, and decides to take the young lad on as his instructor.
