Karate Kid 2 gets screenwriters
After being one of the summer’s more surprising films, it was announced that Sony’s Karate Kid remake would be assured a sequel. Heat Vision reported that screenwriters Cyrus Voris and Ethan Reif, who wrote Kung Fu Panda for Dreamworks Animation, have been hired to write the sequel.
It’s unclear if this sequel will be a remake of the original Karate Kid 2, although director Zwart said he wanted to do an original story as a follow-up.
