Justin Bieber gets a biopic movie
The new pop icon, Justin Bieber, is set to get a film for himself, much like an 8 Mile, according to Hollywood Life. “There currently isn’t a final script, but just like Eminem did in 8 Mile, Justin will star,” says a source close to the developing project. Bieber told Teen Vogue awhile back this: “We’re trying to set up a movie for me in the near future—it’s going to be similar to the story of how I got discovered – kinda like my own version of 8 Mile.”
What made 8 Mile work, was the Rocky-like story, the world of Detroit Marshall Mathers grew up in, the gritty style of that film, but can something of interest to non-Bieber fanatics happen with a boy who’s mom self-promoted the kid on Youtube? Will he cut his hair for the role?
These are demanding times and we need to know!
