Jonah Hill is The Sitter
Jonah Hill is signing on to play the lead role in the upcoming comedy called The Sitter. The picture, directed by David Gordon Green, stars Hill as a college student, suspended for the semester and living at home with his single mom, who has a night to remember when he gets talked into baby-sitting the eccentric kids next door: two boys and a wild 8-year-old girl (THR). Michael De Luca is producing the script that started as a spec script from Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka.
David Gordon Green is already quite the popular director, especially for his surprise hit in the summer 2008 film Pineapple Express. He already wrapped up initial filming for the upcoming comedy Your Highness which stars the talents of Danny McBride, James Franco, Natalie Portman and Justin Theroux. Hill will be appearing in theaters once more on the impending release of the spinoff film from the movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall called Get Him To The Greek.
